Introduction
RIZA SAGYAWAN BUGNAY, a 23-year-old married to a 24-year-old construction worker and they are blessed of a 1-year-old child from Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya. She is the youngest child among her 4 siblings. Her 56-year-old father works as a farmer while her 55-year-old is a simple housekeeper. She accomplished her secondary education at Kayapa National High School and graduated year 2007 and afterwards took a vocational course for 2-years of Computer Secretarial. She previously worked as an Cashier for 6-months. Currently she is taking care of her child and doing household chores for her family while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) This applicant claims to be hard working and a trustworthy person. As a mother, she is confident in taking care of infant and able to attend their basic needs such as preparing milk, bathing, changing their clothes and diaper, sterilizing baby utensils and checking their body temperature. She can also handle young children and capable in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, playing with the children, preparing their school things, helping them with their homework and sending and fetching them to and from school. She is open with the opportunity in looking after elderly person and prepared to be trained in giving them direct nursing care and supervising their other needs. Based on her several years in doing chores for her family, she can be considered to be well-verse and proficient in performing general housekeeping duties such as washing and ironing of clothes, doing the dishes, marketing and maintaining the tidiness of the house. She has also knowledge in preparing and cooking Filipino food and still eager to learn more especially in cooking other foreign dishes if she will be given the chance.
2) Though no formal experience as maid in Philippines she considers herself adept doing household work such as cleaning the house laundry, cooking and other household.
